At Least 1 Hurt in Hit-and-Run Collision Near Temecula Parkway Friday
Temecula, CA (February 20, 2022) – On February 18, a suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 15, also known as Temecula Valley Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported multiple vehicles collided on the northbound lanes of the freeway in Temecula. Initial records indicated the accident took place near State Route 79, also known as Temecula Parkway.

Shortly after 5:47 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found two vehicles disabled on the left-hand shoulder of the highway. Medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. According to the CHP dispatch, at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned a third vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time several unclear factors surrounding the car accident on Interstate 15 in Temecula.
