5 Injured in University Park Crash on Northbound 110 Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 18, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash on the 110 Freeway in the University Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call about the accident on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:37 p.m.

According to their dispatch, two cars collided for for an unknown reason in University Park. They crashed on the northbound side of the 110 Freeway.

Child Victim in Car Collision

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of five people hurt. Four adults and a child sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took some of the patients to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, officers forced the northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the University Park crash is still under investigation.
