2 Injured in Car Crashed Into Canyon Country Doughnut Shop on Soledad Canyon

CANYON COUNTRY, CA (December 10, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crashed into a Canyon Country doughnut shop on Soledad Canyon Road.

According to The Signal and Hometown Station, the accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 8:30 a.m.

The incident happened on December 9 when a car plowed into the Yum Yum Doughnut Shop in Canyon Country. The vehicle struck the business located in the 16500 block of Soledad Canyon Road.

Elderly Woman Plows Into Business

Deputies said an elderly woman accidentally pressed on the gas and then accelerated into the side of the shop. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

At least two people inside the structure who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the doughnut shop along Soledad Canyon Road to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Canyon Country car crash is still under investigation.
