2 Injured in Car Crashed Into Goleta Thrift Store on Hollister Avenue
GOLETA, CA (October 29, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crashed into a thrift store on Hollister Avenue in Goleta.
According to the KSBY News and Noozhawk, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:20 p.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, a car drove into the United Family Thrift Store in Goleta. The building is located in the 5100 block of Hollister Avenue.
Driver Plows Into Business
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two employees of the business who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to the Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the thrift store along Hollister Avenue to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Goleta car crash is still under investigation.
