4 Injured After Car Crashed Into San Francisco Building on Clay Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 11, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crashed into a building along Clay Street in San Francisco.
According an article published by the NBC Bay Area, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9 p.m.
The San Francisco Fire Department said for an unknown reason, the car crashed into a residential building. The area is in the 1500 block of Clay Street in the Nob Hill neighborhood of the city.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Driver Plows Into Residential Area
Two patients sustained serious injuries and the other two survived the incident with minor injuries. Medical personnel then took the wounded parties to hospitals for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the accident severed a gas line and started a fire in the area.
Red Cross crews forced 15 people from their homes following the wreck. Officers shut down a stretch of Clay Street near the building to clear the site.
