4 Injured After Car Crashed Into Tracy Shopping Center on Grant Line
TRACY, CA (January 13, 2023) – Several were injured after a car crashed into the Tracy Marketplace Shopping Center on Grant Line Road.
According to an article published by the Tracy Press, the accident took place last week on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:19 p.m.
The incident happened on January 7 when a Toyota SUV was traveling north on West Grant Line Road. For an unknown reason, the car plowed into the Tracy Marketplace Shopping Center parking lot.
Police said the SUV first crashed through the front wall of the Bambi Salon at 3292 West Grant Line. The Toyota continued through an interior wall and came to a stop inside the OE Federal Credit Union at 3290 Grant Line Road.
SUV Plows Through Two Businesses
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed three of the patients to a hospital and listed one of them in critical condition. The report did not disclose the names of all the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver of the SUV stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck. Officers forced the shopping center along Grant Line to shut down following the wreck.
