1 Hospitalized After Car Crash on W. Van Nuys Boulevard Sunday
Arleta, CA (June 13, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident on Van Nuys Boulevard Sunday morning.

The KTLA5 News reported a driver lost control while traveling on Van Nuys Boulevard. Per article published online, the car went off the curb and plowed through a sidewalk homeless encampment.
The accident took place in the 14000 block of W. Van Nuys Boulevard in Arleta.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and found at least one person with injuries. Responding paramedics reportedly transported the patient to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. It remained unclear whether the victim was a pedestrian, or a homeless person.
Meanwhile, officers reportedly arrested the driver. The charges against the man have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the car crash on Van Nus Boulevard in Arleta.
