3 Killed Car Accident at Highway 1 and Carmel Valley Road Friday
Carmel, CA (May 22, 2021) – Three people suffered fatal injuries following a solo-car crash in the area of Highway 1 and Carmel Valley Road on May 21, Friday.
According to KION News, the catastrophic incident involved a 2018 Chevy Silverado. The article published online indicated the Chevy was traveling west on Carmel Valley Road towards Highway 1. When the vehicle approached the junction, the driver apparently failed to properly take the turn where the two roads converge. Subsequently, the Chevy veered off the roadway and crashed into the hill.
Deadly Car Crash in Carmel Valley, May 21
First responders found at the scene three people involved in the wreck. Paramedics checked the conditions of the victims, and later confirmed all three victims sadly died from the crash. Authorities briefly identified the deceased as a 34-year-old Montana resident; a 30-year-old Washington resident; and a 30-year-old Arkansas resident.
Additional details on the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal car crash in Carmel.
