Pedestrian Injured in Carmichael Crash Near Walnut and Fair Oaks
CARMICHAEL, CA (October 7, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash near Walnut Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard in Carmichael.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident happened on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 2:24 p.m.
CHP said a blue Toyota Corolla struck a juvenile pedestrian for an unknown reason in Carmichael. The driver hit the victim near the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Arden Way. They found the child who sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment. The report did not release the condition of the wounded party at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not confirm if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. The cause of the Carmichael pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Walnut and Fair Oaks to close for a time following the collision.
