5 Injured in Carmichael Crash at Walnut Avenue and Kinross Road
CARMICHAEL, CA (December 29, 2021) – Several were seriously injured after a head-on crash killed at Walnut Avenue and Kinross Road in Carmichael.
According to the CBS Sacramento and FOX 40 News, the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the accident shortly before 6 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Carmichael. They crashed at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Kinross Road.
Children Victims in Wreck
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said both cars obtained heavy front-end damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
A total five people, three children and two adults, ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed them to local hospitals and listed two of the patients in critical condition.
The other three survived with major injuries. The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, the cause of the Carmichael crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the area of Walnut Avenue and Kinross Road to shut down following the wreck.
