At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Rutland Drive
Carmichael, CA (October 14, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on Rutland Avenue resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident in Carmichael
Earlier reports indicated a pickup truck hit a man riding a bicycle. The collision took place in the 6050 block of Rutland Avenue in Carmichael.
Shortly after 2:53 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders found the pickup truck with major frontend damage, and the bike with moderate damage.
Medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained major injuries. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Rutland Drive in Carmichael.
