At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on 405 Freeway at Wilmington Avenue
Carson, CA (October 1, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred in the area of Interstate 405 Freeway and Wilmington Avenue resulted in injuries, the CBS News reported.
Van vs. Motorcycle Accident in Carson
Officials said a police officer was riding a motorcycle heading north on I-405. When the Torrance police officer approached the area near Wilmington Avenue, he crashed into a van.
Shortly after 5:50 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found at least one person suffering in injuries. Due to the serious condition of the victim, medical personnel transported the patient to a trauma center. Personal information on the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision that happened on 405 Freeway in Carson.
