1 Injured in Tesla Crash at Highway 156 and Castroville Boulevard
CASTROVILLE, CA (February 5, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a crash at Highway 156 and Castroville Boulevard in Castroville.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident late Tuesday night. Officers reported the wreck on February 1 at around 10:09 p.m.
CHP said a black pickup truck and a Tesla collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on Highway 156 at the intersection with Castroville Boulevard.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log added that the Tesla obtained front-end damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Prunedale.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the Natividad Medical Center for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 156 and Castroville Boulevard to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
