2 Injured in Cathedral City Crash Landau Boulevard Near Baristo Road
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (May 10, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a head-on crash on Landau Boulevard in Cathedral City.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle was going north on Landau Boulevard near Baristo Road in Cathedral City. For an unknown reason, its driver crossed into the southbound lanes.
Police said the car then slammed head-on into another vehicle. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people hurt.
2 Cars Collide
One of them, a 24-year-old Cathedral City man, sustained head injuries as a result of the collision. The other, a 19-year-old Thousand Palms man, complained of paint to his neck.
Medical personnel took both patients to the Desert Regional Medical Center in stable condition. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties.
Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Landau Boulevard to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Cathedral City crash is still under investigation.
