1 Seriously Injured in Ceres Crash at Crows Landing Road and Service Road
CERES, CA (May 21, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a DUI crash at Crows Landing Road and Service Road in Ceres.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:55 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided at the intersection of Crows Landing Road and Service Road in Ceres. One of the cars involved then slammed into a tree nearby.
Alcohol Factor in Car Collision
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that a driver was under the influence of alcohol when the wreck took place. Officers forced the intersection of Crows Landing and Service roads to close following the collision.
Authorities are still investigating the Ceres crash.
