Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near Taylor Road Sunday
Turlock, CA (November 22, 2021) – Cesario Nepomuceno, a 22-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 99.
On November 21, Sunday, Cesario Nepomuceno was reportedly trying to run across the highway in Turlock. However, an oncoming 2003 Lincoln Town Car failed to avoid and struck the man.
The Turlock Journal News reported the force from the impact propelled the pedestrian into the air. When Cesario Nepomuceno landed, he fell on the asphalt in the center median of the freeway.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 in Turlock, November 21
Shortly after 1:40 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Officials mentioned the driver, and his 17-year-old passenger both appeared unharmed after the incident.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 99 in Turlock.
