At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision on Highway 395 Tuesday
Chilcoot, CA (June 1, 2021) – Injuries were reported following a motorcycle accident that occurred on U.S. Route 395, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a motorbike with two riders crashed in the southbound side of the highway. The collision took place at the Country Line intersection in Chilcoot.
Shortly after 1:45 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. First responders found two riders lying on the road. Paramedics rendered aid to the possible victims, and later confirmed at least one motorcyclist sustained major injuries from the wreck.

An air ambulance later landed near the crash site. The helicopter transported at least one patient to a hospital for treatment. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured party and their age remained undisclosed.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the motorcycle accident in Chilcoot.
