1 Seriously Injured in Chowchilla Crash at Highway 233 and Camellia Court
CHOWCHILLA, CA (May 15, 2021) – One was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 233 and Camellia Court in Chowchilla.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Saturday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly after 9 a.m.
An SUV and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Chowchilla. The two crashed at the intersection of Highway 233, known as Robertson Boulevard, and Camellia Court.

CHP said the SUV obtained front-end damage due to the impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found one of the cars involved on fire.
Medical personnel attended to one person who sustained major injuries a result of the collision. They took the wounded party to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Highway 233 and Camellia Court to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Chowchilla crash.
