At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at State Route 70 and Beskeen Lane
Plumas County, CA (April 27, 2022) – Claryssah Ghidossi suffered injuries following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on State Route 70, also known as Crescent Street.
The Plumas News reported Ghidossi, of Portola, was behind the wheel of a 2021 white Subaru Crosstrek heading west on SR-70. Our sources indicated the Subaru and a 2012 black Toyota Corolla drove at the same time through the intersection at Beskeen Lane. Officials said the Toyota pulled into the path of the Subaru. Given that, the left front of the Subaru crashed into the left rear of the Toyota.
The collision took place on April 24 around 12:55 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they checked the conditions of all parties involved. Authorities confirmed the accident resulted in minor injuries to 19-year-old Claryssah Ghidossi. No immediate information was available on the conditions of other people found at the scene.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Car Accident in Plumas County
Investigators mentioned the driver of the Toyota showed signs of intoxication. For this reason, police arrested the man for DUI.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the crash at State Route 70 and Beskeen Lane.
