
Clovis crash Shaw Sunnyside
1 Injured in Clovis DUI Crash at East Shaw and Sunnyside Avenues
CLOVIS, CA (May 8, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a DUI crash at East Shaw and Sunnyside avenues in Clovis.
According to The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley, the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:38 p.m.
Police said six vehicles collided at the intersection of East Shaw and Sunnyside avenues. Multiple cars obtained damages as a result of the collision.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found several people who ended up hurt following the accident. The victims complained of pain due to the impact.
Medical personnel then took one patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police determined that a female driver involved was under the influence of alcohol when she caused the wreck. They soon arrested her on suspicion of DUI with injury.
Authorities forced eastbound Shaw and northbound Sunnyside to close after the collision. The Clovis DUI crash is still under investigation.
