Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Traffic Accident in Clovis
CLOVIS, Calif. (March 22, 2024) — An SUV and a motorcycle were involved in a traffic accident Thursday night on Cypress Avenue and Sierra Avenue in Clovis.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7 p.m. on March 21nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Clovis police reported a driver in a dark blue or black SUV and a person riding a motorcycle collided in the roadway at the Clovis intersection in Fresno County.
The circumstances leading up to the collision were not disclosed, but the bike apparently collided into the driver’s side of the SUV. It’s possible the SUV pulled out into the path of the oncoming motorcycle rider.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured motorcycle rider who was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the woman driving the SUV stopped and cooperated with authorities.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Cypress Avenue in Clovis.
