
Car Plows Into Shoe Repair Building on Chester Avenue
Bakersfield, CA (May 7, 2023) – Cobbler Felipe Torres suffered injuries after a vehicle crashed into his business place at the corner of Chester Avenue and 10th Street, the KGET News reported.
In February, Torres was working inside the quirky shoe repair building on Chester Avenue. While inside the store, a vehicle through the Big Shoe Repair building. Preliminary investigation revealed two cars initially crashed into each other at the crossing of Chester and 10th. Following the accident, at least one vehicle left the roadway and drove through the commercial building.
Emergency crews later responded to the scene and found Cobbler Felipe Torres suffering in injuries. The victim complained of pain to his back, and several other cuts and wounds. According to the article published online, the man received treatment after the crash and eventually went back to work about a week later.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the two drivers involved in the collision.
Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car accident that happened at Chester Avenue and 10th Street in Bakersfield.
