Rider Killed in Collision Near Barton Road Tuesday
Colton, CA (November 3, 2021) – One person died following a traffic crash that occurred on 215 Freeway on November 2.
The Press Enterprise News reported a motorcyclist was traveling south on the freeway in Colton Tuesday evening. According to the article published online, traffic began to slow in front of the rider. The motorcyclist then applied their brakes and got into a “locked wheel skid”.
Our sources indicated the rider traveled out of control and slammed into the right rear bumper of a Buick SUV. Due to the force from the impact, the rider was ejected from the motorbike.
Shortly after 6:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the victim pinned under the left rear wheels of the trailer attached to a semi-truck in the adjacent lane.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident on 215 Freeway in Colton, November 2
The Colton Fire Department confirmed the motorcyclist sadly died at the scene. Pending confirmation, the identity of the fatal victim remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the motorcycle crash on 215 Freeway in Colton.
