Multi-Vehicle Injury Crash on State Route Highway 242
CONCORD, Calif. (August 4, 2022) — A collision involving four to six vehicles happened Thursday morning on the southbound state Route Highway 242 near the Concord Avenue off ramp.
The crash occurred about 8:21 a.m. on August 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a gray Toyota Prius, a black Honda, two trucks and some other vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to the scene after at least one person complained of minor injuries. .
They transported the injured to John Muir Medical Center in Concord.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
