1 Seriously Injured in Corning Crash at Orangewood and Olive Roads
CORNING, CA (November 18, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Orangewood Road and Olive Road in Corning.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 3:24 p.m.
CHP determined that two pickup trucks collided in Corning. For an unknown reason, the two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Orangewood and Olive roads.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a white Chevrolet Silverado and a blue Dodge Ram. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near State Highway 99w.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Orangewood and Olive roads to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Corning crash is still under investigation.
