3 Injured in Corona Crash Near Promenade and Cresta
CORONA, CA (February 25, 2023) – Several were injured after a crash near Promenade Avenue and Cresta Road in Corona.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:13 a.m.
The incident happened on February 25 when two sedans collided for an unknown reason in Corona. The cars crashed near the intersection of Promenade Avenue and Cresta Road.
Police described the cars as a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta and a gray 2003 Acura TL. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of three people hurt.
2 Cars Collide
The 44-year-old Corona woman driving the Volkswagen and her passenger, a 50-year-old Riverside man, survived the incident with significant injuries.
The driver of the Acura, a 17-year-old Corona boy, sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed all three patients to a hospital and listed the teen in critical condition.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Promenade and Cresta to shut down for a time following the wreck.
