At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident on Riverside Freeway Tuesday
Corona, CA (June15, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on State Route 91, also known as Riverside Freeway, Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a white Ford Explorer collided with another vehicle in the eastbound side of the freeway. The force from the impact sent the Explorer careening to the shoulder of the highway near Green River Road.
Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 6:35 p.m. Responding paramedics immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained injuries from the crash. The name of the victim, and the extent of the trauma remained unknown at this time.

Meanwhile, investigators mentioned one person who contributed to the incident fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
