At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Green River Road Friday
Corona, CA (December 7, 2021) – On December 3, Friday, a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route Highway 91 at Green River Road.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of SR-91 in Corona. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a blue Toyota Sequoia and a silver Chevrolet sedan.
Initial records indicated both drivers initially remained in the area after the incident. However, one driver later fled the scene after saying he will just move their car to a safer location.
Shortly after 10:57 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the site. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of the parties abandoned on the freeway. The CHP dispatch mentioned at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victims remained undisclosed.

Several factors surrounding the accident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to work to identity and locate the hit-and-run suspect. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
