Major Injury Collision on Washington Boulevard Thursday
Crescent City, CA (July 29, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred on Washington Boulevard early Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcyclist collided with another motorist near the Sutter Coast Hospital. The crash took place in the 800 block of E. Washington Boulevard in Crescent City.
The California Highway Patrol group logged the incident at about 12:48 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the crash site, they found the motorbike rolled down the ditch. Officials later confirmed the rider sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the accident in Crescent City have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the crash.
