Major Injury Collision on Highway 89 at Pioneer Road Tuesday
Crescent Mills, CA (May 4, 2021) – At least one person suffered severe injuries following a traffic accident on State Route 89 Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Initial records indicated the wreck involved a big rig and a gray Lexus car. For reasons still unclear, the truck crashed into the back of the smaller vehicle.
The force from the impact reportedly ejected one person from the Lexus. After the collision, both automobiles ended up disabled off the roadway.

Shortly after 11:10 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and rendered aid to all possible victims. After the evaluation, officers determine a female occupant from the Lexus sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the patient, and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the exactly how and why the car and truck accident in Crescent Mills happened.
