Hit-and-Run Collision on San Diego Freeway Wednesday
Culver City, CA (November 12, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 405, also known as San Diego Freeway.
On November 10, Wednesday, a motorcycle rider collided with another vehicle in the southbound side of the highway in Culver City. Officials briefly described the other car involved in the wreck as a black Land Rover.
The California Highway Patrol logged the incident at about 3:43 p.m.
Motorcycle Rider Injured in Culver City Crash, November 10
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the motorcyclist lying down on the roadway. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the rider sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The CHP dispatch mentioned the Land Rover continued driving after the collision. At this time, officers continue to work to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate several factors surrounding the motorcycle crash on Interstate 405 in Culver City.
