Dale Doebler, 68, Fatal Victim in Road Accident on Stony Point Road Thursday
Santa Rosa, CA (May 19, 2021) – Dale Doebler, a 68-year-old man, died following a traffic collision on Stony Point Road in Santa Rosa.
On May 6, Thursday, Dale Doebler was riding a motorcycle traveling on Stony Point.
The Press Democrat News reported the horrible crash happened when a Dodge Ram truck made a turn onto Roblar Road from Stony Point. Per article published online, Dale Doebler attempted to pass the Dodge and crossed over the double yellow lines.
Authorities said the motorcyclist ended up slamming into the left side of the truck.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Santa Rosa, May 6
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the rider ejected from their motorbike. Paramedics performed life saving measures to the man but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as Dale Doebler, of Petaluma.
Officials later identified the Dodge driver as 80-year-old Gary Caselli, of Valley Ford. The man appeared unharmed after the incident.
Further investigation on the unfortunate event is underway.
