At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Serramonte Boulevard Thursday
Daly City, CA (December 28, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Interstate 280, also known as Junipero Serra Freeway, on December 23.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the northbound side of the freeway in Daly City. Due to the force from the impact, one vehicle spun uncontrollably and slammed into the center divider.
Officials believed the other car involved in the accident fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the description of the vehicle of the hit-and-run suspect.
Shortly after 8:20 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate several factors surrounding the car crash on Interstate 280 in Daly City.
