Woman Killed, 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision Near Avenue 184 Monday
Visalia, CA (August 31, 2021) – Darryl Thompson, a 54-year-old man, suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Highway 99 on August 30, Monday.
The Bakersfield.com reported a 36-year-old woman was driving south on Highway 99 at an unknown speed. When the woman approached the area near Avenue 184, she veered into the path of an oncoming car driven by Darryl Thompson.
Our sources indicated both drivers failed to slow down and ended up crashing head-on.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the female driver unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned Darryl Thompson sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Medical personnel treated the man at the scene.
