Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Stage Gulch Road and Lakeville Highway Friday
Petaluma, CA (August 30, 2021) – David Pearson, a 67-year-old man, died following a motorcycle accident that occurred in the area of Stage Gulch Road and Lakeville Highway.
On August 27, a man riding a Harley Davidson collided with a big rig tanker truck at the Petaluma intersection. The Press Democrat News reported David Pearson, the motorcyclist, slowed for a stop sign but failed to make a full stop. The rider drove through the intersection at about the same time as the truck, leading to the accident.

Medical personnel reportedly arrived at the location shortly after 11:05 a.m. Despite life-saving measures, David Pearson sadly died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the operator of the truck appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the deadly motorcycle accident in Petaluma.
