David Schimmoeller, 52, Killed in Claremont Crash on 210 Freeway
CLAREMONT, CA (November 10, 2021) – David Schimmoeller was killed after a crash on the 210 Freeway in Claremont.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 52-year-old man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday evening.
The incident began when David Schimmoeller was riding a motorcycle east on the 210 Freeway in the Claremont area. For an unknown reason, he collided with two other vehicles.
Motorcycle and Cars Collide at Baseline
CHP said the three crashed on the 210 Freeway at the East Baseline Road off-ramp. The CBS Los Angeles and My News LA wrote that accident occurred on November 9 at about 5:57 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the motorcyclist lying unresponsive on the ground. David Schimmoeller sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash
Medical personnel soon pronounced him at the scene. Meanwhile, officers did not mention if any other party ended up hurt following the wreck.
A CHP dispatch described the two cars as a BMW X5 and a Toyota Corolla. The cause of the Claremont crash is still under investigation.
