Auto vs. Truck Accident at Road 136 and Avenue 16 Friday
Delano, CA (November 22, 2021) – On November 19, at least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Road 136 and Avenue 16.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a black Infiniti crashed into a trailer truck near the Delano crossing. Preliminary investigation revealed the truck was parked for an unknown reason near the intersection of Road 136 and Avenue 16.
Shortly after 3:25 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties found at the site. After the assessment, authorities determined one victim suffered injuries as a result of the wreck.
Hit-and-Run Car Crash in Delano, November 19
The CHP log mentioned a motorist involved in the collision fled the scene after the incident. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car crash in Delano is underway.
