1 Badly Hurt After Collision Near Red Cloud Road Wednesday
Desert Center, CA (February 9, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
The Riverside County Fire Department reported a solo-vehicle crashed in the eastbound side of the freeway in Desert Center. Our sources indicated the collision happened in the area near Red Cloud Road.
Shortly after 6:53 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Paramedics immediately attended to one victim found with serious injuries. Due to the condition of the injured party, paramedics decided to request a helicopter to land near the crash site. An air ambulance later arrived and transported the patient to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the car accident took place on Interstate 10 in Desert Center.
