1 Seriously Injured in Desert Hot Springs Crash at Dillon and Sky Valley
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (December 30, 2021) – A crash seriously injured at least one person at Dillon Road and Sky Valley Drive in Desert Hot Springs.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Thursday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 1:55 p.m.
CHP said a county tractor and a blue Chevrolet Tahoe collided for an unknown reason in Desert Hot Springs. The two crashed at the intersection of Dillon Road and Sky Valley Drive.
Tractor and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the corner of Dillon and Sky Valley to shut down for more than an hour following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
