Pedestrian Killed in Desert Hot Springs Crash Near Palm and Ironwood Drives
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (February 6, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed after a crash near Palm Drive and Ironwood Drive in Desert Hot Springs.

Police said a vehicle struck a male pedestrian in Desert Hot Springs. The driver hit him near the intersection of Palm Drive and Ironwood Drive.
Man Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the man lying on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. The cause of the Desert Hot Springs pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Palm, Ironwood and Two Bunch Palms to shut down for several hours following the incident.
