Major Injury Collision Near Elgin Avenue Saturday
Dos Palos, CA (March 6, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route 152 Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle crashed and rolled over several times in the area near Elgin Avenue. CHP logged the case at about 12:48 p.m.
Emergency crews arrived at the location, and found two people pinned in the wreckage. Responding firefighters worked extensively to extricate the victims.
Juvenile Hospitalized After Car Accident on State Route 152 in Dos Palos, March 6
At about 3:04 p.m., officers confirmed a juvenile sustained injuries as a result of the collision. A 7-year-old was reportedly transported to a hospital in Madera for treatment of major injuries. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the patient due to their age.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the car crash on State Route 152 in Dos Palos.
