Pedestrian Injured in East Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at Fetterly and Hubbard
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (November 4, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Fetterly Avenue and Hubbard Street in East Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Wednesday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision at about 7:11 p.m.
The incident happened on November 3 when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in East Los Angeles. The driver hit the person at the intersection of South Fetterly Avenue and Hubbard Street.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Arizona Avenue. They found the victim hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and then fled the area. They described the car as a white colored pickup truck.
Officers forced the intersection of Fetterly and Hubbard to close following the collision. The East Los Angeles hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
