Rider Hospitalized After Collision Near Cordelia Avenue
East Sonora, CA (September 21, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Mono Way Wednesday afternoon.
According to My Motherlode News, a man riding a motorcycle collided with a Chevy sedan near the intersection of Cordelia and Hess Avenue.
Earlier reports indicated the crash took place at approximately 4:20 p.m.
Major Injury Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on Mono Way in East Sonora
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found both the motorbike and car disabled and partially blocking the roadway. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, paramedics requested an air ambulance to transfer the injured motorcyclist to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Authorities added a ground ambulance transported a second patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Personal information on the victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the cause of the crash that happened on Mono Way in East Sonora.
