SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 30, 2021) – A pedestrian accident killed Edda Cabrera at Mission Street and Geneva Avenue in San Francisco.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 79-year-old San Francisco woman as the victim of the fatal crash earlier this month.
The incident happened on March 2 when two vehicles apparently struck Edda Cabrera for an unknown reason. She was hit at the intersection of Mission Street and Geneva Avenue in San Francisco.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene in the Outer Mission neighborhood. They found Edda Cabrera lying on the ground as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel rushed the pedestrian to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, where she died. CBS San Francisco and SF Examiner reported the accident at around 12:53 p.m.
Meanwhile, the 83-year-old woman driving a red Honda sedan involved stopped and stayed at the crash site. Police affirmed that the Honda was the second car which hit Cabrera.
Officers described the first vehicle as a 2010-2014 black four-door Ford Raptor pickup truck with tinted windows. They believed that the motorist in the Ford failed to stop after hitting the woman.
The pickup possibly sustained damage to its right rear side following the collision. Anyone with information can call the San Francisco police at (415) 553-1641.
