Double Fatal Collision Near Bear Valley Road
Hesperia, CA (October 1, 2022) – Edgar Lopez Vasquez, and Jorge Cisneros Aguila both died following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported 43-year-old Aguila was driving with a passenger, 37-year-old Vasquez. The two men were heading south on the freeway near Bear Valley Road in Hesperia.
Deadly Car Accident on Interstate 15 in Hesperia
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the wreck involved multiple vehicles. Earlier reports indicated a white work truck ended up crushed between two semi trucks. The exact number of automobiles found at the scene, and their descriptions have not been revealed thus far.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after 4:56 p.m. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to two victim but they both sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away around 5:15 a.m. Officials later identified the fatal victims as Jorge Cisneros Aguila of Hesperia; and Edgar Lopez Vasquez of Victorville.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly collision on Interstate 15 in Hesperia.
