Man, 34, Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Dehesa Road Near Burgasia Path Friday
El Cajon, CA (April 30, 2021) – A 34-year-old man suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Dehesa Road Friday morning, the FOX5 News reported.
Our sources indicated a male party stepped into traffic for an unknown reason. A passing 2013 Ford transit van was not able to avoid and hit the pedestrian.
The collision took place just east of Burgasia Path in El Cajon. Officials said the crash happened around 5:30 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the male pedestrian with lower body injuries. According to the article published online, an ambulance transported the patient to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.
Meanwhile, officers said the 66-year-old El Cajon man behind the wheel of the van stopped after the collision.
Investigators stayed in the area the whole morning to work to determine the precise cause of the pedestrian accident in El Cajon.
