DUI Driver Hits Pedestrian in Fairfield

Fairfield, CA (March 23, 2023) – Police arrested 32-year-old Elena Lindsey McGraw-Ogans following a suspected DUI pedestrian accident that occurred at the intersection of East Tabor Avenue and Blossom Avenue.

The CBS News reported McGraw-Ogans was traveling in the streets of Fairfield Thursday morning, March 23. When the female motorist approached a crosswalk near Grange Middle School, she struck a juvenile walking across the intersection. The collision resulted in serious injuries to the young victim. According to the article published online, paramedics rushed the injured 11-year-old girl to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

Police later found the Chevrolet sedan involved in the collision. During the investigation process, officers observed the driver appeared intoxicated. Police eventually arrested Elena Lindsey McGraw-Ogans on suspicion of felony DUI resulting in an injury; along with child endangerment.

Further investigation on the case is underway.
