4 Injured in Elk Grove Crash on Laguna Boulevard Near Santorini and Franklin
ELK GROVE, CA (June 16, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash on Laguna Boulevard in Elk Grove.
According to The Sacramento Bee and FOX 40 News, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 2 a.m.
The Cosumnes Fire Department said at least three vehicles collided in Elk Grove. They crashed on Laguna Boulevard between Santorini Drive and Franklin Boulevard.
Multiple Cars Collide in Elk Grove
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took all four patients to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not release their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers believed that one or more cars were traveling at high speeds prior to the wreck. They forced a portion of Laguna Boulevard to close following the collision.
The Elk Grove crash is still under investigation.
