Motorcycle, Scion in Crash on Highway 99
ELK GROVE, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2022) — A motorcycle and a blue Scion collided Tuesday morning on Highway 99 at the Sheldon Road off ramp in Elk Grove.
The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the rider went down in the roadway and blocked the No. 2 lane of the freeway. The Sacramento Fire Department responded to help the injured rider, but there are no further details about his or her condition.
Meanwhile, the blue Toyota Scion stopped and is cooperating with authorities.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the Elk Grove motorcycle crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
