Encanto: Deadly Pedestrian Accident on State Route 94

Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash Near Federal Boulevard

Encanto, CA (October 29, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on State Route Highway 94, the ABC10 and FOX5 News reported.

Our sources indicated a male party was spotted walking within the eastbound traffic lanes of the highway early Tuesday morning. At approximately 12:50 a.m., a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the area east of Federal Boulevard.

When rescue teams arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the person found lying in the roadway. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim; but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the horrible crash fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
